Great use of the checker/chessboard for display, brilliant really. Great contrast and separates the items well. Must put some choice stones in this box I have here.

you would not believe the amount of people that were all broken up (no pun intended) over my checkerboard. they all lamented it being broken and offered to fix it and went on and one how much of a tragedy it was. i tried so many times to explain to them i found it broken, not all the pieces are there anyway, and that it makes a great display piece for my jewelry.

heck if it had not been marble with a cement core it may have been in a fishtank!
