Because the kitchen is so small, the refrigerator will also have to be in this room.
Like I said, though, I want to eventually try to move my washer and dryer hookups to the basement, and extend the kitchen into this room, taking out the wall that is between the two, doing all new counters and cabinets, and have a center island counter.

It actually shouldn't be too difficult to move the washer and dryer hookups to the basement, because the basement is actually directly under this room! I'll be able to do it myself quite easily!
