Whew, well this took a bit of doing... and had this mental image kicking around for a bit.
First image appearance of Rachel; she's a triceratops character I use in RPs on occasion, and here we have her in the midst of chick-sitting the resident space-cadet chick Jayson. She might have bit off more than she can chew though by the looks of it: she's more the sports fur... so Jayson's pick for his English project might be a stumbling block.
... Funny how my favorite dinosaurs are Raptors and Ictheosaurs, but the first one I ever draw on here is a Triceratops.
On an artistic license note: yes she has feathers... just used them for her "hair" the same way I did for Jayson

D'awwww very cute. And well hey they say you should write what you know and well Jayson certainly knows his spacey stuff. That said this is probably the sort of book you want Nocturne to read ya instead. For Rachel here I'd say go with something more actiony. ^^ Maybe Harry Potter?
