I did this piece about a year ago while in the hospital. It was part of my therapy, to have 'art sessions'. The bulk of it is done in sepia pencils with tinting and enhancement with photoshop.
The phoenix on her cheongsam is supposed to be representative of the recovery process, etc etc.
I always liked her face.. very serene.
