As I noted in "The Female Of The Species", Shanda was doing some leadslinging back in Issue 41. To commemorate this, I took a cheapo airsoft pistol set (complete with little case) and made this sticker for the cover... (grin) I THINK Mike Curtis still has it around somewhere.

Anyhoo, the art is by Chris Berdoz (is he here?) from my story, "Shanda, Get Your Gun," which appeared in Shanda Giant Animal #2 (lookit, folks, I'm on Amazon.com!) (grin) wherein Shanda meets Rilly Vilent and Minnie-May Manx, the Gunsmith Kitty-Cats...

This pic was from the afterword, wherein Chris and I did an illustrated version of Jeff Cooper's rules of firearms safety, which got positive reviews from the furry gun community at the time.

Shanda's target pistol is based on a Hi-Standard Supermatic which I inherited from my father (and still own)...
