Poor Brent considering that he'd already suffered considerable pain as a result of Dewey's April Fool's Day prank and now his own son has managed to give him a bad back through proving/disproving an old superstition. Admittedly it is amusing even though there's sympathy for poor Brent so I'll imagine someone will give him a good backrub later to relieve at least some of the pain and that the next time he shows up in your artwork he escapes injury. Riley is adorable, so I hope we'll see him again as well.
I suppose here Brent can be thankful Dewey wasn't there and said something like, "Sorry Brent, can't think of a good wisecrack right now, guess I'll have to put my back into it and think of something, probably break out in a sweat over it."

Haha! Good ones! That's exactly what Dewey would say. As for Brent, don't worry, he'll be sure to get him away from any kind of pain in future artwork, as he is fierce-looking enough to shake anything off, and there will be more of Riley too. I just hope that chiropractor comes quickly though XD
