I think Ben always means well, but I could see him forgetting that not everyone thinks Vincent’s belly is cute, haha. I imagine he calls attention to it from time to time without realizing that Vincent will be mortified. If Ben were a little more limber, he could save some time by just putting his foot directly in his mouth next time.
I really need to do more with Ben’s friends sometime too. I’ve only drawn Alexis like 3 times maybe? And I haven’t drawn any of Ben’s other friends yet. I’ve been thinking of writing a “Vincent feels awkward at one of Ben’s friend’s party” episodes. I need some more ideas for what can happen in it and where in the narrative I can put it. Hmm...
