Remember the old tale of the Wolf and the Fox from Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics? The ending of that story always pissed me off so much, so I just had to set it right. Wolfie is always willing to help out a fellow wolf in need. Poor lonely bully wolf just needed a good friend was all.

Oh that's so touching!! You even typed a ribbon round his tail from where he had to yank it out of the ice :D
This is so cute. And I never did agree with that ending! Wolf should have eaten fox, hehehe, but then again I'm evil so that would have suited me.
Poor wolf now has a friend, and you can fatten him up (so I can snuggle him mercilessly, mewhahahaha!!!) :3

Watched the animated film via the links. I agree this is a MUCH better ending.
I see the story going just as in the film, until Wolf tries the fishing with his tail thing. Fox sees his chance then and runs away, leaving the poor wolf trapped with his tail in the ice. Wolf finally manages to pull himself free at the cost of half his tail. Not long after is when Wolfie finds him, ultimately leading to the scene in the pic.. which I now have as my desktop wallpaper. So heartfelt and cute. Makes me wish I had a gruff wolf to snuggle up and be nice to. ^.^

i have just started watching it out of curiousity....and i must say it's very unique and fun! i felt bad for the wolf though...if he wasn't such a bully and a glutton, he and fox would indeed make great partners. but nonetheless, i love both characters and the creator that thought up this wonderful pair gets great respect
