Savannah 2018 reference [COLLEGE]
My final for digital painting was to create a character! It could be a character from childhood or whatever!
So I decided to finally sit down and make a character I've been wanting to create and redesign for the longest time.....a character that represents my feminine parts of me.

I've had Kairi for a long time but she never fit me...so for years, I've put off redesigning her and even tried selling her and no one bit on the deal...
In a way I guess it was a sign to not give up on her.
SO I looked up color pallets, studied markings and antler designs and finally put her together.
It was actually an emotional project considering she represents a part of me that doesn't really exist anymore...which is why she is a Jackalope due to the species being a complete myth.
Overall I'm really proud of myself for the design and the MAJOR improvement in proportions, anatomy, and style since the last reference sheet for her XD
Also, I changed her name to Savannah...which is my deadname/birthname, it suits her really ;w;
ANYWAYS figured I'd post her here since I'm going to draw her and stuff plus I want to feature my college work on here! Which reminds me, my comic for my comics final will be complete this saturday so look forward to
5 pages of emotions...LMAO

She’s absolutely gorgeous. You did such a spectacular job redesigning her. That’s a wonderful name for you to give her. I may not have been watching you for most of my time on here but I can definitely say that you’ve improved so dang much and it’s been wonderful seeing your style change and improve so much. I greatly look forward to seeing your comic and any art you post.
