Depends my friend! By pure comparison the new augmentations are superior to what is demonstrated in the original Deus Ex. However, that is mostly a result of the games inability due to its graphics to portray what biomods are actually capable of. Also they were nanotechnological augmentations. Plausibly? Nanotech can boost a physique, but there is a hard cap on what nanotech can do with organic tissues.
