It was my first time trying hot pressed watercolor paper. Not sure if I'm sold. Being more smooth it was great for inking, but I do enjoy the absorbance of textured paper more. I feel like my new, supposedly more vibrant, paints required a lot of layers to get dark enough.
Any watercolor tips welcome. I got the professional grade winsor and newton half pans.
