Just a pic I commissioned of Pearl taking pictures of the eclipse from a few months ago. It was partially viewable here in the desert, and literally made day almost as dark as night. It was a sight to behold.

Yeah, seeing a solar eclipse as it happened is a real treat. It was near 90 degrees as the eclipse started where I was, but once it approached totality, the temperature dropped into the 60s, and it was like dusk at 2 PM. My brother actually snapped a pic of the eclipse WITH Venus in the picture as it was close to the sun as well.
