Another one for Caervec and pretty soon this scene will get a continuation...
I've had a great pleasure depicting this dusty basement uhhh I mean a moderate price inn room.
I am a great fan of Charles Dickens stories and I tend to love young boys protagonists, especially when they face rough times. So this sweet lad Azalf (on the left as you may presume) caught my attention immediately and there was nothing surprising in it. But what's more interesting, I actually found myself digging into Alagast character, rather problematic man with quite flawed nature. So I keep looking to this meme which I should probably print and hang up on the wall in my room http://klikr.org/f6295ec615cca4be3dd066544218.jpg

Hahahaha! That meme!
But you have wow'd me yet again with your skill. You brought this scene to life masterfully, with just he right touches of detail and menace. It took me until a few minutes ago to realize the chair was propped up with a stack of books and a jar. I can feel the draft from that window (I've been in a few places like this one and the memories are just too vivid with this reminder). This is the most run-down, bottom-dollar-rate room one could possibly get -it doesn't even have a door, instead relying on a curtain to gain even a ghost of privacy. Sticking with those traditional yellow eyes makes Alagast all the worse for demeanor and it's like magic. from the leaky pipe to the pot-belly stove oozing smoke, the ripped sock, and ruined shirt, you can tell this has been a very bad year.
Thank you so much for this.
