This was originally done for an assignment in my digital illustration class. I wanted to use it as an excuse to practice with more dynamic shadows and highlights from a prominent light source. Also I just love goofing around with character expressions. This is actually a bit of a preview, as a scene similar to this one will be featured in the next storyline after the summer school arc is finished (which will be with the next page).
I'll be selling signed prints of this image through my site for $15 each, shipping included. Each 8.5 x 11 print will be on glossy archival-quality paper. Keep an eye on my main site (PeterandCompany.com) to catch it when it goes up for sale. I need to put together the purchasing page, so expect that to happen within the next week or so.
Drawn and inked by hand with a brush. Colored in Photoshop.

Seth seems mildly amused, as if he can see right through Peter's story and realize just how little he *really* knows about the ghosts out there...
Also, GREAT job on the stark lighting contrasts! I especially like the folds in the blanket.
One concern, though--the lighting on Peter's tongue makes it look (to me, at least), like a big plastic cylinder protruding from his throat.
