Great use of the warm and cool contrast in the background :D! Really makes Spyro pop!

You did great! The way you kept the warmer colours near his head and chest and the cooler near the tail helped emphasis the colour pallet :D Its like the background is helping the eyes move from one end to another, changing from warm to cool on the way down, just like Spyro himself! (Since he has more yellows and golds near his head).

Having the yellow up by his head and the purple near his feet creates an invisible line that follows from the tip of his horn to the end of his foot, giving a nice full display of the image ^^ Its a great technique to use when the background is similar to something in the foreground and keeps it separated.

A cool thing to try for next time is to swap the pallet around, having the gold around his back end and the purple around his head (or with anything you draw). Who knows, it might change the picture to look even better. ^^
