I'll admit I stalk your Furaffinity page even when I'm not logged in, pff. I saw this the day you posted it, and it instantly raised my spirits. I LOVE flowers, even though I may not always know the names of 'em! Seriously, this piece fills me with so many warm, fuzzy feelings ;___; Your expression work is always phenomenal; the way Tinka is gazing at that rose with his eyes half-closed is perfect! You can tell he's daydreaming about something! I also like the way his arms are wrapped around the flower pot - more like he's gently hugging the flower close to his heart, instead of just holding it :)
Whenever I draw clouds, I always take the easy way out and use a textured brush, but I like your method much, MUCH more :D I mentioned before that I enjoy seeing you draw props because you infuse them with so much personality. Well, the same goes for background elements such as clouds, grass, wallpapers, etc.! They're stylised and feel like they actually belong in the same universe as the characters you draw! These clouds in particular are extra swirly, and keep scrolling up just to admire 'em.
One other little detail I wanted to ask about: is that your handwriting in the thought bubble? 'Cos if so, it's lovely! (I spotted that little heart shape in the thought bubble trail too - such a nice touch!)

Nothing wrong with that! I never expect any comments on here and it BLOWS my mind you voluntarily write those incredible comments on everything I upload. I have no idea how you find the time and energy for that, but it only makes me appreciate them even more ;___; Thank you! I love nature a lot and I miss being surrounded by it, so drawing all those plants was therapeutic for me. And bingo! Tinka specifically asked me to draw his character hugging the flower, I'm glad you brought that up :)
I'm not even sure if I have a "method" because my clouds rarely look the same twice, but I'm happy you think so! While I enjoy drawing props, I generally avoid doing backgrounds. I need a lot of practice, so your compliments are very valuable for me - they both motivate and guide me!
Kind of! I wrote that, yet it looks nowhere near my regular handwriting :D My handwriting is very chaotic, the letters never really look identical - much like my clouds, pfff. Thank you, I'm SO impressed you saw that heart-shaped bubble, I thought it was barely noticeable!!
