_Yeah I liked those entrance too! The one where accidentally his mask caught fire was hilarious too, especially if you listen in Japanese!
And yeah, he was defintiely a combination of jerk and hero; you could see that when he met that old blind lady in episode 5 if I'm not mistaken. He apparently treated her with disrespect but in reality he was more like making sure to give her an unforgettably experience (and besides he was the only one to notice her blindness)
