ABOUT THE SPECIES:
Tern gryphons are based on the tern bird anatomy-wise, although the gryphons are much, much bigger. If one were to stand right next to you, their head would reach above yours. Alongside larger size comes greater strength. While this gryphon species would make quite impressive foes, they are actually very shy of human contact, and prefer to stay in flocks of their own species, living somewhere far away from human settlements, usually close to sea.
