And being a jakkai, you already had a strong tail. Having it sentient basically leaves you with a free helping hand attached to your butt. Well sometimes when the tail isn't distracted :B

I’m actually kind of curious, what’s it like to have an extra eye on one’s tail/forehead? The only description for the experience is that their eyesight feel different. How different is it? Surely having an eye on your tail is dizzying due to how much it can swing around behind you.

It's processed by the succubat, so the eye isn't like someone started swinging around half your vision; It comes with it's own mind that can process what it sees, and is used to it.

So if a symbiont closes both of their eyes, they can’t see out of their tail eye? Also, what’s it like to have a third eye? Is it any different from having two eyes?

They can see out of their tail eye once they accept it, but it's processed differently.

They're more aware of what's around them.

Yes, especially because our 2 eyes use binocular vision, while the succubat eye doesn't. Even hooked up to a host, it doesn't give them extra depth looking at stuff.

Kind of, the third eye on crown crabs can be moved independently, and be used for trinocular depth perception of all three are in sync.

Could there be some bats where the 'buttwings' grow big enough for use on a non flight species of person/anthro? It's probably an odd enough question but I like the idea of flying wolf bat dude xD
