So I don't really consider this an actual art piece and moreso an experiment in drawing Susie The Blue Coupe in HD, with modern programs and all. To do this, I had to do the forbidden art of (GASP) tracing. Hence why I feel this way about this piece. However, doing this made me realize how many layers Disney used when coloring these cels (I think I counter about 12 layers give or take) and honestly gave me a bit more appreciation for what they did then. I mean, imagining them do this with an actual cel seems pretty awesome.
Altogether though this took me about 2 hours total to finish, give or take. I'm sure there's some shortcuts I could've taken but even then it would've just cut the time down in half. Honestly makes me wonder how quick the cel artists then were in doing this because this is literally just ONE frame in like... 60-100 they use per scene, out of like... what? 40-50 scenes?
... all this math is making me dizzy.
