Fanart for one of my favorite Digimon movies! Hurricane Touchdown still makes me cry. I see people rag on it a lot for being more slow-burn and somber, but I have a lot of love for this movie and I still remember how I felt watching the original subbed version for the first time.
The concept for piece goes back a long time! To around 2013 I think? But it never got further than a very rough concept scribble. More recently though (sometime last year now) I rediscovered the concept and I'm very pleased that my skills improved to the point I was able to finally draw this out as I envisioned years ago :)
Anyways! Enough of me being a sentimental fool, I hope you guys like this piece! It's not quite "new" but it's one I still like a lot!

I've honestly yet to see the films in their subs, but I will say that they absolutely cemented my love of Wendigomon, among many other things. Sentimental or not, these are things worth sharing, as they are powerful emotional ties, or just probably nostalgia. Either way, I love this piece.
Love a lot of things about this. First I notice the stillness, then longing, then fear, and then I see the frame.
The original score of this movie sets a wildly different tone than the localization. I try to spread the word whenever I can, but the damage has already been done.

I adore this movie, it's one of my favorite bits of Digimon media! I could go on an entire rant about how bad the dub did this movie, but instead I'll settle for trying to convince my friends to give the original a try haha.
