I always figure his eyelids are probably the softer, flexible bits rimmed with exoskeleton. this character is really interesting for me to draw, as his expression doesn't change much - due to most of his face being chitinous, haha. I have a lot of fun playing with unconventional anthro designs like bugs :3

anyhow this is AWESOME, you know? fucking badass, as Black should be. and pretty condescending-looking. (loooove the painted smoke!)
