I hope Vanguard's running out of a budget causing the animal races to not have tails doesn't start some kind of horrible trend in MMORPGs if the Worgen don't have tails either...

I'm in agreement. The very least they could have done was a better choice than goblins. Goblins are hardly removed from the trolls the Horde *already* has. It's not our fault they had to go and give the Alliance a bunch of sissy characters before now. Even by their description of the Worgens, they should be Horde. Someone elsewhere mentioned that the side story might be the Alliance creating a potion that returns human sensibility to the Worgens. Still, I don't think any enslaved 'race' would return to that side upon return of sanity. Among other things.

it might be fair if goblins hwere better than gnomes (aka same stats, lol) the only thing that sounds good to me (as they are now) are the goblin racials

RP servers do, and most people who have played warcraft before do too. Essentially, most people do care. The Horde doesnt automatically need every cool and savage race. Hell, theyre imba without worgen prolly, as they claim themselves to be so often. ;)

I'm not a WoW player, but why must the animal races always be aligned with the darker side? Doesn't the Horde already have the Tauren? I'm not a fan of rigid factions to begin with, but how is adding the Worgen a violation of Internet etiquette?

I guess they have to have a way to get people who like the different appearence races to play the alliance side as the Draenai weren't what people were looking for and lo and behold, we have the Worgen...

Yeah, it sucks that the alliance get worgen. But when Catacylsm comes out, I'll just faction change my Death Knight into a worgen <3
