Tails may have learned how MANY feet are too much for him, but the girls are now seeing how MUCH feet is too much for them~
So... it's been a while since I've last used this grassy field, and I've sure learned a LOT about how to make stuff look good since... so it was nice getting to revamp the looks of this scene for a new render... and I even wanted to try something fancy... actual grass! Sure is a taxing effect on the ol computer, 10.000 grass blades with 10 to 20 clones each... but it sure looks nice~
I also debated with myself a bit about the sky... I ended up using a HDR picture, which looks nice and realistic, but it might be TOO realistic for such cartoony environment... Usually when doing outdoors stuff I just use that one blue sky with drawn clouds I've made, but this one I just decided to use a real picture of a sky... So what do you guys think? you like this realistic sky or the drawn clouds one better?
This is part 2 of 2 on a commission by superdude-G, both single images linked loosely... and how this is kinda supposed to go is that this is a dream caused by the last image... Tails fantasizing about sweet revenge... or is the first image the girls fantasizing revenge on Tails and this one is the reality? :thinking:
