Wouldn't gnolls be more inclined towards light or no armor? Even if they could find a custom armorer willing to make a set to fit that body shape, I don't think they'd even be able to move around in it all that well. But I like the picture, so, you know. :shrug:

Gnolls are depicted in various forms have anything ranging from just there hide to close to a set of half plate cobbled together from looted armaments. The more feral tooth and claw brawlers favour running around in there undies and loin cloths, while spear wielders do much more often then not have a breast plate looted from some fallen foe.

As for mobility, the upper armour would not restrict movement at all. Its just protecting vitals and does not stop joints from getting there full and unrestricted movement. The biggest concern would be how the metal boots worked, but this is simple art so no mass complexity's to go over.

As for cost, well you adventure / mercenary long enough you can scrape the cash in for some metal between you and the foe. Cost would be a bit more for odd body type depending on how odd a range of body-types clientele they have, but its a simple set with none of the fancy stuff. Probably has a helmet, heads a big one on needed protection. Just not depicted.

You know I completely forgot about the chest peices, I was so focused on the boots. You right! They do scavenge(get it? Cause scavengers..) those all the time. Helmets could work too, yeah. You are right. Good thinking. :ok_hand:
