In my efforts to enhance the visual appeal of the comic by improving my understanding of Photoshop lighting effects I've come up with this before-and-after modified preview from the final panel of page 113.

It's basically a glorified glam-glow, something that I had been doing previously, combined with a bloom effect. Deepening of shadows, brightening lighter colors, giving them a glow and increasing the contrast to remove that dusty sort of haze over the image.

I didn't apply the new effect too much in this preview because the original scene lighting was dramatic enough with the blinding back light coming from outside. I hope to incorporate this new method of lighting in the next page to see how the fans react to the change. They're my attempt at making the still frames from the comic appear like they're screenshots from a well done machinima film which uses Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas FX.
