Hmm... While it's a competently-written first couple of paragraphs, it's sadly not much of a teaser. Generally a teaser acts as an appetizer (heh) for the full work. Think like a movie preview, or a book prologue, or the cold open/teaser segment that some shows run before the intro sequence. Something that gives you a teensy taste or hint of the action to come. The title at least has me interested in seeing more, though.
