A non comprehensive list:

Social pressures: Crown Crabs Hosts are treated like they're giant zombie-like monsters, big mindless soldiers. Even people around who don't think killing crown crabs (if they can) is their duty, asymbiotic law enforcers tend to treat crown crab hosts like threats to society, no matter what they're actually doing. If a fight starts, you're in the wrong. If there's trouble nearby you were involved, if you're being stopped for some minor crime, every movement is a sudden movement. Just because they actually CAN take most gunfire doesn't make it fun or acceptable. Crown Crabs are treated like they're dumber, dangerous, and not really people.

Physical pressures: They need to eat. They need to HELLA EAT. If you're a normal sized crown crab host, you're either eating close to 20,000 calories a day, or you're quickly shaving off years from your life. And being big doesn't translate directly to making the extra money you need.

Logistic Problems: There just aren't a lot of people built like you, They exist, the setting has a SUPER WIDE variety of body types and sizes, but it's still harder to buy clothes. Your old house isn't big enough anymore, and getting a new one in harder than your last one was. Plus a lot of public businesses and facilities aren't you sized either.

And....daaaaang, 20 K of calories? Frack, how can they even do that properly. You need a well paying job to get that many fries and steaks to sate that hunger. I guess there are a lot less volunteers to become a Crown Crab symbiont.

Also every giant in the setting needs to eat a ton of food. Crown Crabs are kinda special in how they don't starve and lose weight like normal people

That is really cool to hear that you changed this bits of the lore. That they are still the same people and not dumb brutes. That they have 'just' a more scarier looking body and having to adapt to their new looks.

What I was referring to was how other transformations would add wings with other optional features such as a tail maw. Simply being bigger is a bit more macro than TF.

Wings and tailmaws are succubat territory. Crown Crabs are all third eyes, spikes, and MASSIVE GAINS.

lols, what I was asking was, If you are a Crown Crabs then the default look is the big muscles from, But, if the host don't eat a lot of food a day,
