He may not be Daren the Lion, but I'd say this guy's just as respectable and awesome! Saw this lion walking around earlier in the day, proudly sporting his Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) shirt. Well, actually, the logo was in French, standing for Éducation à la Résistance Aux Drogues (É.R.A.D.) instead. And despite learning that he was French, I commented on how I've heard of the program - namely through that one song on YouTube - and he and his spotter kindly surprised me with an É.R.A.D. T-shirt! How lucky!

I graduated from the D.A.R.E. program back when I was in the 5th grade in 2001-02. I'm glad to be raised and educated to take a stand against substance abuse. And it's also imperative for furries in the community to take a stand against substance abuse as well, and considering places becoming smoke-free environments in recent decades. Some places have designated smoking/vaping areas while some others don't even permit them on the grounds. But I'm also very glad to resist every temptation to smoke. People who don't curb the habit will develop mental issues in the long run.
