Decided to test the watercolours on one of my little fish people before I did the Veterdrake
I'm happy with it as my first try with watercolours in a long time (about a 10 years I think?) but there's some annoying mistakes. I made a mess of the scales, didn't help that the drawing is tiny oops! And I'm regretting the colour scheme - the gold doesn't look good on the orange. I love the gold metallic paint though! But then, I'm a sucker for anything gold. Despite the messiness of this, the watercolours are really enjoyable to use c:

I'll probably try a digital colour test for the dragon painting first, so I'm less likely to mess up the colours and shading.
