Ever heard of the shipwrecker crawfish? A creature of the sea came to the land to feed on the populace, they disturb its hunting ground, those beast are notorious to attack ship and devour the crew, leaving no trace behind. Since they require air to survive they often float on the surface to breathe, this is where many accident happens, with its hook feet it clings on the ship, its face has a extremly tough shell he uses to pierce through ships and the tentacle hair of his grabs its foes and drag them to his mouth.


Shizame was searching for a new contract to fill his pockets when he stumble upon this low reward notice , he would have ignored it if it wasnt from its content. He usually wouldn't care about a task if it didn't pay well but when it was something this important he did not care to do it for free.

Villagers from the east who had no one willing to help wrote the letter begging for someone to kill the beast, many family perished to its attack and none of them were strong enough to defeat such large size predator. Irritated to the thoughts of not getting paid much for such a task he accepted the task and visited the village who left this cry of help.


The place was a mess, houses were broken, villagers were starving, paranoid to even leave their home and upon Shizame arrival they scream to him to go away. After showing them the contract they immediately crawl to his feet thanking him a thousand time to have spared some of his time for them, people who were meaningless to the east empire to even consider wasting a single knight to come to their aid.


Once the meet and greet was over with, he went to the beach it was last sighted, to its surprised it was there, sleeping with countless skeletons piled up in his dung close to the ocean, he did not wasted this opportunity to strike first as he sneak towards it and quickly sliced off his head tentacles.


The lenght of this fight took half an hour with this mercenary taking down a beast the size of a ship, the beast less deadly than in water was still putting up quite a fight, but it's attacks were slow and predictable so a quick and agile warrior would never be able to get hit unless it was on purpose.


Once dealt with he carved pieces of the beast shell out so he could sell these to a smith, and carried its head back to the village to show proof of his successful hunt. The villagers all cheered him but looked at him awkwardly as they had nothing to offer him really, the smallest amount of gold they had were gone, swallowed by the beast not too long ago, Shizame simple said he didnt care about the money as long as he knows innocent lives were saved doing this contract, he then shook their hands and walked away, without any money but with pieces of a beast that would gain him quite a nice size coin purse.

Shipwrecker Crawfish is a creature i created not too long ago, i was attempting to make a Talyxian stalker when i created this abomination XD I wanted to call it Tal Crawfish but didnt want to make out some beast since i am not doing canon art.
