More Cake For Everybody! 🎂 (art + cake recipe)
Yush, you read right! This time around I add a yummy cake recipe!
Hope you dudesmight enjoy baking with Shiny. However, you can just enjoy the idea of celebrating Shiny's hatchday and him bringing you lotsa cakes. =D
For a simple double-layer chocolate cake with pink cream you need:
What you need:
-a cake pan
-a piece of butter or grease spray
-2 ½ cups of water
-⅔ of vegetable oil
-two boxes of chocolate cake mix
-six eggs (buy them from the friendly Chicken in your neighbourhood =3)
-two mixing bowls
-a spatula
-two cups of whipped cream
-six tablespoons of powdered sugar
-a few drops of pink food coloring
-a measuring cup
-an electric oven
-and a mixer or cake batter
1. Put the cake mix into your mixing bowl (attention that it doesn't 'poof' everywhere)
2. Add the water (so that the cake won't taste too dry later)
3. Add the vegetable oil (so that the cake slippery-slides down much better)
4. carefully crack the eggs and add them (but not the shell of course)
5. mix everything for about two minutes on a low setting if you use an electric mixer (or a bit longer until its all nice and smooth)
6. use the butter or grease spray and spread some over the insides of your cake pan (that way the cake doesn't stick to the pan)
7. pour in the cake batter you made (just leave a bit of space to the edges because the batter expands some when it is baking)
8. take your second mixing bowl and put it in the freezer (we need it later for the whipped cream)
9. heat your oven to around 325 and then bake the cake for around 45 minutes (you can use a tooth pick or fork to ckeck how well it baked; if no liquid batter remainings stick to it it means your cake is good to come out)
10. carefully put your cake on a plate (but attention when getting it out of the oven; the pan is hot still)
11. let your chocolate cake cool down a while and do the whipped cream in the mean while (you can also use frosting instead if you prefer it)
12. take the now chilled mixing bowl and set it down on the table
13. put the whipping cream inside a measuring cup
14. add very few drops of the food coloring to it (one or two are usually enough)
15. slowly mix in the food coloring until the whipped cream is nicely pink looking
16. pour the pink whipped cream into the chilled mixing bowl
17. add the sugar and whip the cream and sugar mix until you get a nice and fluffy cream for your cake
18. put the whipped cream on your cake with your spatula
19. decorate with other snacks, candles or sprinkles if you got some
20. Enjoy with your dudes (-^.=.^-)
Happy Totodile's Day!
Hihi, I was so much having fun with everybody today that I didn't properly manage to write down the journal I had planned. I'll do it very soon though and thank you all for all the friendly b-day greets! =D
Kilka did supersweet with this art of Shiny. Last time we talked about that Shiny can be quite strong. As it seems he definitely is able to lift a big cake with not too much effort. Lovely expression and yummy looking cake that I'd love to eat especially if Shiny carries it over to me. X3

*watches Roza enjoying the cake* Hihi, glad you like it! X3
Mmm, I'd love to gobble up some cake.
... Although, a double-layered cake? That's not too hard to make at all. Heck all of the ingredients are easy to get and use. I suppose that's the point, and it works for what it is. For a totodile named shiny, I'd imagine his dessert would be even more flashy.

That's sorta like that cake Shiny had to share with his party guests on one of his hatchdays:
