Charged with symbolism dating back to ancient times, this is the Chipmunk Kingdom Coat of Arms. It was conceived during the middle ages. However the two chipmunk depicted in ancient form were added when the two major Chipmunk Nations, Striatus, Minnimus, united to form the Chipmunk Kingdom. Around the necks of the two chipmunks are shards of the Syngery Crystal a sacred object though which Chipmunk draw power and life directly from the sun.

The shield is emblazoned with the image of the sun shining to all four corners of the world. The sun rays divides the shield into four quadrants each featuring an ancient symbol dating back to times before animals walked. The cross in the upper left quadrant depicts crossing paths representing life's journey. In the upper right are zig zag lines depicting mountains which represents destiny. In the lower left are two arrows pointing towards a circle representing warding off of evil spirits. In the case of chipmunks those spirits are those who yearn for eternal darkness. In the last quadrant is a symbol of a water house representing life. Together with the sun the shield represents the Divine Destiny of guarding the life giving life from those who yearn for eternal darkness.

Below the shield are eleven feathers representing the 11 Keepers. The crossed arrows behind the shield is an ancient symbol meaning friendship. In the case of the Kingdom these arrows represent unity. Crowning the shield is a symbol of a chieftains headdress representing the sovereignty of the the Chipmunk Kingdom.

The quote above the shield "Giver of life our Strength we wield" boldly states the very thing that spurs the nation onward, the life giving light of the sun.
