Markus' hands slipped back and forth a little along the smooth surfaces of fane's enormous skully as the human pulled himself a little higher to get a better look. Down in front of him he saw Fane reading a book, something he'd found in amazingly good shape for something the spent an eternity collecting dust in the old ruins.
"Well this looks promising!" Fane assured as he flipped to the next page. "It would seem there is a way to undo your foolishness, little guy."
As the boney finger backed away from the book it reached upwards to bump the little human on the head, a gentle bop while Fane kept reading not even tearing his eyes from the book.

This breathtaking piece was done by the amazing
glaucablitz whom I love dearly for being extremely kind and understanding and you should totally go check them out because they're not getting nearly as much attention as they deserve!
