Been replaying Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie recently and experiencing some sweet sweet nostalgia and just awesomely made games. I blew through Banjo-Kazooie pretty quickly but Banjo-Tooie has been taking longer, I forgot how much content it has the developers really stepped up their game for the sequel. This has been in my head for a while now, I just can imagine them as WoF dragons so vividly and I'm not sure why but I love it to pieces so lets not question it and just enjoy it.

Banjo is of course the Mudwing and Kazooie is the Skywing.

Banjo was the runt of the litter and born with malformed wings rendering him unable to fly. The fact he was the runt always played on his mind due to teasing from other Mudwings but with help from his siblings he trained and grew up to be a strong Mudwing who many envy for his strength.

Kazooie is an unnaturally small Skywing but is full of spunk because of that and will take on anything even if its 5 times her size. She also has unnaturally large wings for her size and is a very very strong flyer so much so that she is able to lift big ole Banjo off the ground for extended periods of time.

Still figuring out the story for how they meet but I was thinking something along the lines of a Skywing patrol visiting the Mudwings during the Sandwing succession war for something or other and they bond over being shunned by their tribes.
