This is a second view of the workshop, ignore the blurred vignette, it's cuse I used a fisheye, a sucky one at that.
The electric panel under the two lights on the left runs a dimmer switch rigged to the three Tiffany lamps on the right, wires hidden by pipes.

I'm just glad we were able to take all the gauges, the guy was awesome pretty much everything I pointed to, minus this one machine wrapped in plastic and obviously the big yellow 3phase power system he said "take it, just don't get hurt." he seemed more interested to know what I wanted it for and where the hell i was gonna store it then how I was gonna get it out of there. i'm just glad my car held up that was like 500lbs of iron, gauges, brass, pipes, cables, and other crap that is now in the kids room lol
OH and the gauges leaked black oil everywhere, it sucked on shag carpet. >.<

Thanks ^.^ Lets hole the bolts hold O.o they're like a quarter of the thickness the original ones were, some panels are just held on with sheet rock screws lol oi.
We'll be making more stuff soon in there, there's actually a bunch of things were going to start working on when ever I get the time to go up there n help.

just out of frame on the right is a boiler room recording thermometer, we got that to work, and the gauges would work fine if we connected them to a compressor, but that's stupid, what we were talking about doing was making a bed out of pipes and using those gauge pods as a headboard set, running airbrush hoses off each gauge to fittings on an air mattress he had, (the matress had 8 individually inflatable "tubes" of air) that way atleast most of the gauges would work when you moved around on the bed, but the air mattress was popped :(
yeah it's one of those fisheye filters ya buy for 30 bucks online, it works fine at 50mm but if i zoom out with the primary lens under that, you get serious bowing and unfocused edges, id need to make a shift lens out of it.
It worked ok, got the whole work area in the shot, that's like 12ft of frame at 5 foot distance, so I'm pretty happy with that aspect of it, kinda. lol

The space I rented for my portrait studio had an old 1800s HRT boiler/generator room, The owner said it was going to be torn down, and that people were taking all the copper out of it.
And he wanted to know if there was a cheap way to make it secure.
I told him I would help him if he gave me the old dead gauges, he said "If you can get them out of there with out getting hurt, you can have them, if you get hurt, I didn't know you were in there." So I helped em keep an eye on the place and put up a couple security cameras and ran them to an office inside with a networked DVR and head free run of the place so long as I didn't touch the yellow cabinets or the car that was being stored in there I was fine ^_^
