the struggles of making original characters

Its really a struggle at times ):

I mean there's always trying different fashion designs on him. It not only helps with variety, but it might show more personality into him.

He has a total of 4 different outfits. 6-7 outfits if I count outfits like him chilling off duty or marriage outfit. And even then it doesnt really work. If I really want it to stop I would have to change his hair color to black and when its white he still gets compared.

Honestly I would advise not to take it personally. Almost every character gets compared (I had my spider lady compared to Cortana from Halo). The way I see it can be seen as the artist being inspired by the character and try to see where they use certain aspects then make a new character. When they do compare you can either feel down about it or take note from what they said. Heck years later you might update him to something else because of your taste change or maybe your style changes.

I already took note of it and changed colors accordingly and still it got compared. The problem is my inspiration could come from a different character or mix of character overall and get compared to a character Im not even a big fan of. Especially when it comes to looks. Calix idea came more from a character from Dangranronpa called Makato Naegi and elements of his personality came from a character named Luffy except hes less of an idiot. However he'd be compared to Naruto even though my motivation or inspiration is from 2-3 different characters. It feels more personally when I hear people say dont take it personally then say a character can get inspired only for the inspired characters never get a mention it just seems off and weird.

Besides one person soul goal was to make a comment "Naruto" on any post that contained him to the point it turned to harassment. Hell if I set Calix up with Elise she'd be compared to Hinata when she isnt even close to Hinata in comparation but more the person would say it just cause shes next to Calix or has a relationship with him. It sorta turned personal after that and especially when I lost like one friend because they rather take the harasser side (I think they were together which explained a lot of ignoring the person actions)

Though I do get what you mean though. It hasnt happened lately ever since that day and only get mentions of it in different days. I already did update him when it cames to colors and I stopped giving him longer hair like looks when it comes to his bangs on the side of his hair. Being colors of yellow hair and blue eyes and skin being slightly lighter later changing to a dirty brown and gray eyes where I liked this look better. If Im going to update him again it would just be black hair just so it would end. I dont think any other color fits him.

It's okay. I think people just do it to be assholes if they make it into harassment. If that's the case blocking is the most I can think of. I don't really see much of Minato in your guy. Just do you and try to press on forward.
