. . . I kinda want to make more carousel characters now. Yes I KNOW it's weird, that's at least half my thing
Again, credit for the initial inspiration is to
carnival from this picture here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26772679/ and my deepest apologies for borrowing parts from the design with only slight alterations. Carni is at least twice times the colorist I'll ever be and you really should be watching her.

I can see it in two ways.
1. As a "dream form" of someone that exists in their dreams. Dreams don't have to make sense or able to exist in reality.
2. An actual Carousel Horse was brought to life, by magic or whatever, and the pole is just a part of them just like the harness and saddle is.
Either explanation explains how she can move the pole around her body without pain and a gory mess. With either of those explanations it becomes quite the cute concept.

LOL, It's always funny to see young furries see new artists doing things that were already done in the 80's as "new". ;)
I believe it was Cataroo who was one of the first (not the first, but one of the first) who did this, back in the 80's. :)
What? You've never heard of Cataroo? Famous early furry artist, came and went. God, I feel old. The years fly by.
Rick did a great rendition of this though.

A carousel horse pole dancer with the pole through the body? This is just fantastic, to say the least!
If you do more of these, I'd suggest keeping the pole in the second position as if its part of their body and they can't slide off of it. Glossy body, so they look carved and painted instead of fleshy - a "material change", like you did with the plushies! Spend most of their time locked into/attached to the carousel but they can "disengage" from it to walk about - pole and all! Hehe.
Very creative work!

As strange as it is I actually find it funny and clever from a cartoon aspect. I'm a little jealous I didn't think of it first cause imagine having a character like that as an npc in a video game. Lotta jokes and personality quirks to be played with if ya thing hard enough!
