Hi! I’m Rikki Butterfly, owner of Rikki’s Butterfly House in Roushidra Valley, in the realm of Djiucorlia! And today … I’m going to shoot myself out of a cannon!
I’m looking for a rare specimen: the Attesor Butterfly! This butterfly is reported to be able to speak to any other butterfly – and to us! I want to invite it to live in my butterfly house, where it can fly freely with butterflies from every corner of the world.
(What’s that? If it’s an invitation to a talking butterfly, then why do I have the net? …It looks sporty! Okay?)
Anyway, the Attesor is reported to exist in the jungles of Coquiana! Coquiana is very high up on Mount Krulea – and cannon is the only way up – as far as I can figure.
I’m really hoping I land right in Coquiana! That will be the quickest way to get my Attesor. Look at the overhead map – Coquiana is huge! My chances are good! And – hee! – I wouldn’t mind landing in Crowne Peake either. It’s an elegant, safe – and very luxurious spot, where the friendly locals will see me down to Coquiana with no trouble.
There are lots of other settlements on the middle of Mount Krulea. There’s Orthonia, Rhombusia, Vapor City, Crescentside, the Capsulers’ Regions – ooh, and the Star Coast! Landing in one of those places is a good chance to get to Coquiana. (And a great travel opportunity too!)
However, there is a little risk to this shoot. There’s a reason I’m not going on foot! Where the top of the mountain is beautiful, the bottom is dark and nasty. There’s the horrid XTentcity, where awful furs run big loud machines, and Bramble Thicket, which surrounds a cave whose entrance has been on fire for a hundred years. Some parts don’t even show up on a map!
So, the bottom is trouble, the top is awesome, and the middle prolongs my journey. I’ll aim my best, but I can’t control where I land.
Here in Djoucorlia, we trade in wishes. Wishes are made real by – what else? Butterflies! You have some right now! If you believe in me, and want me to get my Attesor, just bring some Butterflies to my house. If I get to the top, I’ll give you back double what you put in.
