I drew a shark in the live stream too.
Had to stop drawing before I could color it.

Someone leaning over so the ribcage and pelvis obscure the head, and the feet obscure most of the legs.
Reclined poses, I guess. But I also want to practice distortion too, which would be very useful to creating the illusion of depth.
I look at dancers too for poses! They have the best lines, period.

Oh yeah, those seem like some good poses that I should practice. :)
I am able to teach myself some of this stuff, but I think a figure drawing class would help me out a lot. Just sitting me down and saying draw this for a grade! I take it this semester, but I can sit in on a few classes.

I've taken four classes related with the figure (Figure Drawing, Figure Drawing again [this time I had more one on one with the teacher and independent study of what I wanted to do], Color Figure Drawing [also painting with acrylics, oils, and watercolors], Figure Sculpture), and a Facial Expressions and Anatomy. I've never learned so much in my life. I absolutely loved all of the sessions I went to, and I have a feeling that if you have a good teacher, you'd feel the same way.
Nothing is better than just sitting down in front of the nude figure, any size, height, ethnicity, or shape. It's just the core of learning.
I still have a lot of classes to take, and I'm looking forward to them.
