Half the fun of going to conventions, at least as far as I'm concerned, is meeting people that I wouldn't necessarily think to look for elsewhere. And especially at bigger cons like  furnalequinox, I like to get commissions from people I probably wouldn't see elsewhere. It's no fun if your books are full of the same artist over and over again.

So, back in the Artists' Alley this year, I ran into  DogGirlsonDrugs, who was having problems deciding between the giants book and the red pandas book, and so we compromised with a macro red panda in the giants book.Worked out pretty well.
