Another batch of Lion King characters. This time Hyena characters. The little lady on the left is Asante, while the guy on the right is Thabo. They are descendants of existing Lion King characters. It should be noted that Asante is a Lion King character from the books, that my friend and I repurposed.

Asante is the granddaughter of Shenzi (and possibly Banzai). While Thabo is the son of Jasiri and a rouge hyena. Here are some bio's below written by my friend.

Asante (from the stories with Kopa) is Shenzi's granddaughter, and the future matriarch of their clan. Shenzi is quite protective of Asante, since she's all the family she has left, but her advanced age makes it difficult. One thing Shenzi is very clear about, however, is that Asante is to have nothing to do with lions: don't antagonize them, don't befriend them, nothing. Shenzi had a lion friend once, and look how well that turned out! After meeting Kopa, however, Asante learns that not all lions are as scary as her grandmother let on.


Thabo, on the other hand, is lucky enough to be born into a clan allied with the Pridelands. His mother Jasiri and Prince Kion, leader of the Lion Guard, are cubhood friends, so the young matriarch is perfectly comfortable letting her son play with lion cubs from a pretty early age. In fact, Thabo's closeness with the lions is what makes him Malaika's first choice to join her new Lion Guard. Though he can sometimes be a little full of himself, Thabo's bravery and determination to uphold his family's honor are definitely his strongest qualities.
