Another bit of our shared headcanon. As you can see, Malaika is a little older, and what is that on her shoulder? Well it turns out that Malaika inherits the Roar of the Elders, so her half-uncle Kion trains her to lead the next Lion Guard. The male in the middle is her half cousin Kopa, the son of Kiara and Kovu. I know Kopa was Simba and Nala's son in those Lion King books, but my friend and I decided to make him their grandson instead. Hey they did something like that for Plucky on Animals of Farthing Wood.

The female on the right is Wingu, Tiifu's daughter and Kopa's betrothed. As you can see she is obsessed with him. The male on the left is Afua, Zuri's son. He is Kopa's best friend and he has a huge crush on Malaika.
