Being a homage to the inmortal, genius Howard Pyle, an artist who was specialised on Navy- and pirate-pictures, this artwork is based on his "Blackbeard's last fight".

Longer story will be added to my coloured version, just this notes so far:

The Navy mate to the right is sublieutenant Henry Decker, fighting to the notoriuos Michel de Grammont, the french pirate called "the Chevalier". To the left, of course, there fights de Grammont.
I decided to draw him more realistic, being more filthier and dirtier then my common version. Who the person in the middle is, I will tell in my finished part!

Henry Decker, naturally, is based on Rusty Palmer's Alexander Decker, alias Ace.
