Our higher self exists beyond space and time and in truth. Only our egos exist in the mortal coil. The more our higher self is identified with the ego and its interferings with the the mortal coil, the further we are away from truth. When the higher self stops interfering with the mortal coil and it stops reincarnating as the ego in lower realms of the universe, in the mortal coil, we move into higher realms of the universe, where we are more close to our higher self.
