Haha almost forgot about this. Was debating whether to put this up or not, but eh whatever who cares.
So this is an actual fanfiction I wrote for Undertale shortly after it came out. It's kind of silly to admit but the ending did really affect me a lot, more than most games ever have. The lack of super-final closure for a certain character left a hole in a lot of people, including myself... sooo I wrote a story expanding on the ending :B
When I did this, I intended to make it 'realistic', like not go all out altering the ending like a lot of AUs do to make that character "live" again. I just wanted to build off the existing ending, make it seem real and realistic and down-to-earth, like what would likely really happen after the ending we got in the game, to "make sense". This way you don't have to suspend your disbelief too much to get the 'happy ending for everyone' that people wanted.
Anyway I haven't read this since I wrote it and don't intend to now, but I got some amount of positive response to it from people. I made it to cheer myself up, so maybe it'll cheer you up if it's still bugging you 3 years later.
