雨降って地固まる~
A beautiful adopte gifted to me by
Kitsymi and created by
SJackalopeQueen~
Her name is Chiharu and she's a kitsune hsien loyal to a kind and gentle hana no kami. As most hsien, she answers prayers and performs tasks for her kami, typically doing so though the medium of flowers. She's a celestial florist and travels the world, tending to flowering groves of great spiritual and magical importance.
Chiharu has three forms~ Each form corresponds to one of her three tails.
The first is her anthropomorphic form as pictured above, which stands roughly 160 cm (5 ft 3 in). In this form she can understand and speak nearly every language and she has access to some very mild ritual magics, particularly those related to those that would keep flowering plants happy.
The second is similar to her anthropomorphic form but much smaller; roughly 38 cm (1 ft 3 in). In this form, her three tails are more cloud-like, shedding wisps of vapor behind her as she moves. She can fold those cloud light tails underneath her and sit back on them almost as if they were a bench and use them to fly as if they were a floating chair. These tails also allow her to shed rain from them to water crops and she can, with great effort, channel a great deal of her power to influence the wider weather in this form. Making certain special flowers just get the perfect amount of sunlight or rain. In this form, Chiharu can speak to certain animals, particularly those who live alongside the flowers she tends.
Her third form is her feral form, pictured above. In this form, but for her coloration and three tails, Chiharu is virtually identical to a normal fox. In this form, however, she gains two special properties; she can speak with most animals in this form, even those no typically associated with the flowers she maintains. But more spectacularly, she can channel the power of the hana no kami she serves and vanish into a flower, reappearing from a flower of the same time anywhere else. This is the ability that allows Chiharu to travel the world, tending to celestial plants and answering prayers, as the walking gardens of the hana no kami has bede of nearly nearly every manner of flower known to exist, as well as several species long forgotten.
Chiharu is a kind, ageless being who eschews violence and cherishes love. Though she answer any prayer her kami wishes her, she particularly enjoys prayers that involve love, affection, and charity.
