It can at least be helped, probably. Use warm [not hot] water, and dab at it gently. Don't scrub, and use a little peroxide on a q-tip if you can.

Ohh...take it to the vet ...immediately especially if you have any other cats, because ferals usually and I know its just a kitten but they can also carry feline AIDS..which will get all your kittys sick, if they were to play too rough or the alternative, but this is just a kitten, he still could have anything else. Which might be a bigger infection in his eye, good luck hun <3

May need jus some gentle cleaning with a wet warm rag. Even though they may be ferral, pretty much all cats are when first born. Just the same, pick it up by the scruff of the neck and hold it that way while cleaning the eye.

I've had look...but they all want at least $50 to use there traps and if I walked in with them they want $70 for them to take care of...
I remember you called out animal control, they would get them for free.
