Well, I'm prone to bouts of crippling depression, which I describe as "darkness".
I experienced a horrible few hours, in which I thought I was gonna lose my mate, and then that fell on me.
I drew it out as though the character is being tempted to become dark, so he can feel comforted.
Very symbolic, ne?
