I know Ms. Asaji from the third season and Kari from the first two aren't the same character and they are even in different universes and the whole same voice actor gag only happens in the dub, but I like how that still confuses people to this day.

Also I kind of of like the concept that she's actually Kari who ended up getting tossed into the Tamers universe about ten years prior to the start of the show (that kind of stuff actually does happen in side stories) whose had her spirit basically broken from being separated from here family and friends and had to start using a fake name when Digimon Adventure began airing. Someone write that story.
